British Airways has unveiled a new uniform for the first time in nearly 20 years, featuring the collection of apparel ready to "take the airline into its next chapter".

Over the past few months, the airline crew has put the uniform put to the test in secret trials in heaven and on earth.

Designed by British fashion designer and Savile Row tailor Ozwald Boateng OBE, the uniform, launched in the spring, includes a "modern jumpsuit" for the female cabin crew who are billed as an "airline first".

The collection also includes dress, skirt and pant options for women and a bespoke three-piece suit for men with regular outfits and slim fit style pants. A tunic and hijab option has also been created for the wearer.
