The Governor of Ekiti noted that President Buhari's emergence as helmsman of the country was a defining moment in Nigeria's political history, as it was the first time that an opposition leader defeated an incumbent president, adding that winning another term was a testament to Nigerians' confidence in his ability and competence.
Governor Oyebanji noted that President Buhari had worked hard to manage a complex and heterogeneous country like Nigeria and had shown in his words and actions that he was still irrevocably committed to its unity and indivisibility.
He further recognized Mr. President's leadership, vision, courage and determination in pursuing the just cause and common good of Nigerians.
