Buhari congratulates Marwa on biggest cocaine bust

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday praised National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Chairman Buba Marwa for the agency's recent highly successful operation that led to the crushing of a labor union Drugs International and the recovery of 1,855 kilograms of cocaine.

In a phone call to the chairman of the New York Narcotics Agency where he is attending the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 77), President Buhari said the news of the recovery gladdened his heart.

“I deeply appreciate the work you have put into eradicating the drug menace. It makes my heart glad as I continue to follow the successes achieved under your leadership.
