Don't let politicians spoil you in 2023, CAC advises young people

General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church in Nigeria and Abroad, Hezekiah Oladeji yesterday in Abuja urged Nigerians, especially the youth, not to be used in the general elections of 2023.

Oladeji, who spoke at a press conference ahead of the church's national praise program, said there must be an end to bloodshed and money politics , stressing the urgent need to improve voter education in the country.

He said money would fail and give way to politicians, who have the technical and educational requirements necessary to alleviate the suffering of the country.

“Our people are easily cheated with money. This won't last. We must not mortgage our future in the next election because our challenges will only multiply if we don't do it right,” said said Oladeji.

According to him, the true children of God cannot be deceived, adding that young people must wake up to their rights. Oladeji said about 3,000 gospel music stars, trumpeters and renowned clerics would praise God with expectations of a better Nigeria.

He said that Abuja National Praise is a CAC program based on God's instruction, adding that when weapons have failed, when fear and unrest prevail, when economic hardship grips the nation, the praise program, according to the Lord, would provide help.

Which should take place at the national stadium in Abuja, the program aims for a new Nigeria, Oladeji said.

The General Evangelist insisted that the worship program is an instruction from God and that it would take place in Abuja, Lagos, Olode and Ikeji in Osun State.

Oladeji added, "God said Abuja first, and it has to do with a new Nigeria that God is bringing." Kunle Ajayi, Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, saxophonist, televangelist and music director of Redeemed Christian Church of God; renowned gospel singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer, Dusin Oyekan; Adeyinka Alaseyori and Peterson Okopi are among the guest ministers expected on the program.

Scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. this Friday, September 16 (today), the program is labeled “Praise the Lord; for his mercy endures forever.”

Oladeji added that the program would create a reflection of gratitude on all that God has done all around Nigeria, especially all the problems the country has faced. Oladeji said Nigeria is a beloved nation, which will be visited by God's mercy after the event.
