Buhari praises former First Bank chairman Awosika at 60
The Chairman, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired), on Saturday paid tribute to the former Chairman of First Bank Nigeria, Plc, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, on her 60th birthday.
>He noted that the businesswoman and leadership coach has displayed her gift of encouraging others to raise champions on a global scale.
Buhari's birthday message is contained in a statement signed by his Special Advisor for Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, titled "President Buhari Welcomes Former First Bank Chairperson Mrs. Ibukun Awosika at 60 ".
According to Adesina, the President rejoices with Awosika on another milestone, while saying that her dedication to serving humanity, especially young Nigerians and women, has made a huge difference in the private sectors and public.
"President Buhari notes the influence of the entrepreneur, international leader and speaker and founder of the Chair Center Group on business and political leaders, and her efforts to change the minds of young people and older women to look at the big picture, work hard, and live a fulfilling life that has always been blessed with wisdom and insight.
"As a notable voice on development, the President believes that Awosika's investment in people, institutions and places will continue to set her apart for more recognition and rewards, as she shares the truth, based on his versatile background," the statement in part said.
Buhari therefore prayed that Almighty God bless and keep the businesswoman to see more years of a fulfilling life and enjoy her family.
