Campaign team of Buhari, Tinubu and Shettima wives to appoint spokesperson

The ruling All Progressive Congress has made arrangements to appoint a spokesperson at the inauguration of its Women's Presidential Campaign Train to be held at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
The party, through the Tinubu-Shettima Women's Presidential Campaign Team Organizing Committee, has declared that the official inauguration of its various committee members will also be held. .
A source at the party secretariat said the inauguration of the 944-member team will mark the official start of the party's campaign.
The source also said that the women's team will be given some autonomy to organize and organize their own programs at the national, zonal and state levels.
The ruling party had announced on Independence Day the composition of the women's campaign train with First Lady Aisha Buhari; Leading the pack are Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Hajiya Nana, wife of Vice Presidential candidate Senator Kashim Shettima.
The campaign list, which contained the names of 944 high profile women and wives of prominent APC politicians, was released in the early hours of Saturday morning by the media administrator of the countryside, Rinsola Abiola, who is also the daughter of the late chief MKO Abiola.

As the First Lady of Imo State, Chioma Ikeaka-Uzodinma will lead the South East campaign; his Cross River counterpart, Linda Ayade, will oversee South-South activities.
In the 70-page campaign document, no less than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were enlisted for entertainment.
They included veteran comedians such as the inimitable Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello, among others.
