ESPN's Wendi Nix, the latest on-air talent to leave the network
Wendi Nix, the host of College Football Live, has it announced on Instagram that his tenure at ESPN is over after 17 years.
“Exactly 17 years ago, I came to ESPN wide-eyed and excited. This week, I'm going out the same way. Grateful, but equally excited for the next chapter. To be continued…”, she wrote on the social network.
ESPN recently fired about 20 on-air talent. Nix's contract was about to expire and was not being renewed.
Nix will be replaced on College Football Live by Kelsey Riggs, who has joined ESPN in 2019 as host of the ACC network.
