Cheryl Celebrates Her Birthday: "So...It's 40"

Getting older is inevitable and a privilege, but that doesn't make it any less shocking when stars hit big milestones. Although she may seem ageless, Cheryl turned 40 on June 30.
The singer took to Instagram the same day to share a sneak peek of her celebrations, which included modeling an impressive pair of giant sunflower shades (while her real pair of sunglasses were on top of his head). She finished her birthday girl look with a pink tie front button down shirt and green palazzo pants while celebrating at the Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk. She simply captioned the photo with "So...it's 40".
Under her Instagram post, she was greeted with a slew of birthday wishes from celebrity friends and fans, including fellow Geordie Vicky Pattison, who wrote, "Happy birthday beautiful girl ♥️ ". Beauty influencer Jake-Jamie also chimed in, adding, "Happy 40th Birthday Cheryl! Wishing you a year ahead filled with love, health and happiness xxx".
Although Cheryl shot to fame at just 19 on 'Popstars: The Rivals' before being added to girl group Girls Aloud, the 'Fight For This Love' singer recently made a comeback in the West End thriller '2:22 A Ghost Story', where she played the role of Jenny between January and April this year. "It's a totally new and exciting experience for me," the star said on Instagram. This new step in acting is an evolution of her time as a judge on "The X Factor".
In 2006, Cheryl married footballer Ashley Cole and was often photographed alongside Victoria Beckham watching their partners from the football stands. After reports that Cole was unfaithful, their marriage ended in divorce in 2010. Cheryl then welcomed a son with One Direction's Liam Payne two years after they started dating. The couple separated a year later, but are still co-parenting their six-year-old child. Happy Birthday Cheryl!
