Air Force Chief of Staff Hosts Christmas Luncheon for Frontline Officers

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao hosted a Christmas lunch for the troops in Kaduna.

The luncheon is part of efforts to encourage the valiant officers who have excelled in the fight against terrorism and other criminals in the north.

Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, who was impressed with the officers' and men's display of professionalism, noted that the high risk of a security threat to the country, coupled with the challenges it poses to the achievement of national development, required a strong security architecture including air power to quickly overcome them.

He reminded the valiant officers of Operation Whirls Punch and Bada Mamaki who are fighting the insurgency in Kaduna, Niger and Kogi States as well as the FCT of their responsibility to defend the territorial integrity of the nation .

The Air Chief of Staff who was represented by AOC Air Training Command Kaduna, Air Vice Marshal Nnamdi Ananaba, recognized the resilience and patriotism of the troops, as he tasked them with maintaining the tempo of the fight to the safety of Nigeria. challenges are eliminated.
