Chlöe's 'In Pieces' Album Tracklist Reveals Features Of Missy Elliott And Future

Chlöe consolidates her solo career with her long-awaited debut album. The singer announced the upcoming release of "In Pieces" earlier this year, announcing the big news on January 24 with a cinematic 17-second teaser showing her poised in a red latex dress. In the song that plays in the clip, Chlöe sings, "Wear my heart on my sleeve / They all say I'm naive / But it's better than nothing / When did it all get so heavy now?" /p>
In the weeks leading up to its release, Chlöe released several updates for "In Pieces", including the album's two lead singles ("Pray It Away" and "How Does It Feel"), the cover and finally a tracklist. In her Uproxx 2022 cover story, the singer teased that her debut album would be "surprising" to some because "I'm a brand new artist and haven't worked yet so this will be the first thing people hear from me."
Previously, Chlöe had success with her sister Halle Bailey as Chloe x Halle. The duo released two albums, 2018's 'The Kids Are Alright' and 2020's 'Ungodly Hour', with each release earning Grammy nominations. Although there hasn't been an official announcement of their disbandment, Chloe x Halle appears to be on hiatus as the sisters focus on their respective careers. Halle, for example, portrays Ariel in the upcoming live-action "Little Mermaid" and also stars in the upcoming musical film version "The Color Purple."
