A new viral debate has taken over Twitter, and it's about who has the funniest list of movies under their belt...the contenders being Chris Tucker and Martin Lawrence.

The question was asked on the Bird app over the weekend, and it was asked hypothetically... about who would win in a Verzuz movie at its peak - which makes this poll all the more harder to answer, as these two titans of comedy have some great movies under their belts.

Twitters have been ringing in the last 24 hours, and it looks like the internet could be torn on this one...if not give Chris a slight edge, although the margin is very slim.

Of course, they cite four films in particular that Chris had in the mid to late 90s and early 2000s that propelled him to super stardom in Hollywood. These cult classics would be... "Friday", "Money Talks", "Rush Hour" and "Rush Hour 2", an incredible lineup.

Martin is no slouch, though...and he's got plenty of stock in his corner, too. For his "first" series of films - people point to "Bad Boys", "A Thin Line", "Life", "Blue Streak" and "Big Momma's House"...to name a few. It has a stacked list.

While Martin certainly has more movie credits to his name - and more comedies in general - a fair handful suggest that Chris' best films might actually take the cake here... just because of the way which his films/roles are emblematic of turned out to be in the grand scheme of things.

As one person eloquently put it... Chris probably could have done "Blue Streak", but Martin probably couldn't have done Fifth Element as well or as uniquely as Chris did - which seems right.
