Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said the rise of on-chain activity on his new Layer 2 network, Base, revealed how "broken" the Coinbase app is for user experience, and committed to improving it.
In an August 13 X (Twitter) post, Armstrong said a number of pain points emerged during "Onchain Summer" - a week-long festival of product launches, brand activations and non-fungible token reveals on Base which began on August 9 and will run through August 31.
