Comparing Paulo Dybala's 2021-22 stats with current Man Utd forwards
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is looking to bolster his attacking options this summer - and they have now been linked with former Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.
United scored just 57 Premier League goals in 2021-22 and Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 18 of those goals, is now looking to leave Old Trafford.
The Red Devils love Ajax winger Antony but refuse to pay the €80m asking price and are now linked with Dybala.
Reports say Dybala's move to Inter Milan fell through and United are currently in talks with his agent over a potential transfer.
The Argentina international, who was heavily linked with United in 2019, is currently a free agent after leaving Juventus at the end of the season.
"United yes, if Ronaldo leaves," said Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio when asked about Dybala's options. "But they are looking for a number 9 and if they get Dybala they will have to change their style of play. But he is on United's list.
"Inter had the opportunity to sign him, but they preferred to sign [Romelu] Lukaku because he was their first choice. There is no club ready to sign him for the 6 million yet net euros a year he wanted. He wanted more, but now it's just 6 million net euros left."
