Above all, you should watch it because it's so much fun. Sexy, captivating, atmospheric, the sofa equivalent of a perfect summer romance on a lounge chair. (It's based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's Perfect Lounge Chair of the same name.) But you should especially watch it for its wardrobe, as it's a template for the most delicious summer vacation style. /p>
Daisy Jones & the Six is the story of a rock'n'roll band in 1970s California, by which I mean it's basically the Fleetwood Mac's story (the creators said they were partly inspired by the band). Guitar cases, bottles of whiskey and intimate love-hate duets sung up close and personal on stage in front of thousands of people. And the clothes – oh, the clothes! Light, fluid and semi-transparent blouses. Crochet vests and denim shorts. Washed-out t-shirts and tapestry coats with cool fringes and thin scarves. Finished with long, tangled blonde bangs and big black sunglasses.
It's summer bliss, and it translates surprisingly well into non-rock life. star. The floaty, semi-sheer Stevie Nicks-esque kimono-like garments with trailing sleeves look incredibly backlit under stage lighting, but they're also really handy to have on vacation. They take up no room in a suitcase, work as a beach cover-up over a bathing suit, and can be layered over a t-shirt and jeans at night to keep chills and bugs out. Crochet is the quintessential breathable summer fabric, with built-in air conditioning. Cut-off denim shorts are a freezing cold classic.

Suki Waterhouse as keyboardist Karen (Christine McVie, with a bit of Patti Smith) argues for the fitted cardigan as a summer cardigan. Camila Morrone as a Photographer Camila has an on-screen collection of loose-fitting maxi dresses reminiscent of Ali MacGraw, alongside a few pale Bianca Jagger-style suits.
Theatre? Well, yes, of course, but I'll crane my neck and say no more than the Love Island look that's dominated the past few summers. Those elaborate swimsuits with criss-cross straps that the girls wear in the villa - I wouldn't like my chances changed to one of those huddled under a towel on the beach. Corsets? That's not what I'm going to achieve when I'm supposed to have a relaxing time, thank you very much. Tight dresses when it's hot, yuck. And as for the belly button windows…
The Daisy Jones look, on the other hand, is high octane glam, but once you replace the boots sequined by leather flat sandals, many of the female character fashion is loose, comfortable and practical. After all, it was invented by women who traveled the world and lived in suitcases. The Daisy Jones look was also ubiquitous at last month's Coachella festival, with cowboy boots being declared the new flower crowns, and fringed suede jackets taking over after dark hoodies. /p>

Either you're a bombshell in something tight and sparkly that shows off a sideboob, or you're a no-nonsense mom wearing flax in safe flowers.
