Davido, Osimhen and others awarded national prizes
The Ministry of Special Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs announced on Sunday that 339 eminent Nigerians will be the recipients of the 2023 National Honors.
Some artists have been included in the list. They are the famous singer, David Adeleke, alias Davido, and the filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, who have both been awarded the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
Super Eagles and Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen also made the list. The top scorer in Serie A has been awarded the MFR frame (Member of the Order of the Federal Republic).
Benue-born socialite, Terry Waya was conferred with the cadre of the OFR (Order of the Federal Republic).
Recipients will officially receive their medals and certificates on June 1, 2023.
