Dewalt takes Bournemouth sleeve on one-season deal
July 28 - AFC Bournemouth, back in the Premier League after two seasons in the Championship, have secured a season-long sponsorship with power tool manufacturer DeWalt.
De Walt will appear on the sleeves of the Bournemouth men's home, away and third shirts.
AFC Bournemouth Commercial Director Rob Mitchell said: "We are very pleased to have secured this deal with a great brand ahead of the new season. It is a mutually beneficial deal which gives DeWalt exposure world and allows us to further capitalize on the commercial value of being back in the Premier League."
At the end of June, Bournemouth unveiled a two-year deal with online bookmaker Dafabet as the club's main partner and shirt front sponsor.
Dafabet replaces MSP Capital on the front of the Bournemouth shirt. The locally based financial services company will however remain a partner of the club, redirecting sponsorship towards the team's training kit.
No value was given for sponsorships, although first-team shirt and sleeve offers are both club record offers.
Announcing Dafabet as the club's shirt sponsor, Bournemouth stressed the need to maximize Premier League revenue opportunities "Dafabet will feature on the front of men's playing shirts in an important part of the club's commercial goals of maximize revenue in the Premier League."
The club's revenue opportunities are limited by having only one stadium with a capacity of 11,000.
The club said Dafabet will make a financial donation to the club's Community Sports Trust to support projects that help adults find work.
Bournemouth open their 2022/23 season against Aston Villa at the Vitality Stadium. August 6.
