Di Lorenzo advises Osimhen to score more goals

Napoli right-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo greeted Victor Osimhen while answering questions from some fans at the Dimaro-Folgarida convention center.

The 28-year-old was asked how strong the Nigerian striker was and he replied positively, while saying there was still room for the Serie A Young Player of the Year to improve.

"How strong is Osimhen?" He is very strong, for me he still has a lot of room for improvement. We hope he will score a lot of goals next year. Morale in the locker room after all these transfers? There is enthusiasm to leave, after two years we are back in the Champions League and we are proud.

"We have to face this season trying to improve and grow. We are ready and motivated to start again."

Osimhen, 23, has been linked with a move away from Napoli, with the Partenopei placing a €100m price tag on the Nigeria international

The striker scored 18 goals and provided 6 assists last season for Napoli and is also on the radar of Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Osimhen recently scored four goals against Sao Tome in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June.
