Drake crowns Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj as the best to ever do it in rap - and in the case of NM, in particular, seems to throw a bit of shade at his contemporaries.

The OVO leader was performing in Toronto on Saturday on the Young Money Reunion tour...and Drake took a few moments during the set to pay tribute to Weezy - who is credited with finding him and Nicki all those years ago and to have their career started.

Drizzy is full of praise and adulation for Wayne, who just stands there, dazed, and accepting it. But look when Drake starts handing out GOAT titles... he gives the honor to LW, but so does Nicki.

Of course, that's just Drake's opinion... but it's an interesting argument for Wayne's case. Some say Jay-Z or Nas could be the GOATs of hip-hop, but Champagne Papi has his pick here.

As for Nicki, he also calls her the greatest, but perhaps in the world of female rap. In his case, he actually scoffs at any idea that any other femcee is close to status... saying NM is the initiator and the best to do it. This too is obviously controversial.

There were countless female rappers before Nicki who paved the way - and there are even some now who some believe might be up there ready to take the throne...aka, Cardi B or even Megan Thee Stallion, just to name a couple.

But Drake doesn't see it that way - he clearly thinks these two are the cream of the crop...and they got his cosign on it right in front of a massive crowd.
