Ed Sheeran said he "felt so sad" to shoot a music video that brought Jamal Edwards' "vision" to life p>
The 31-year-old said he "contacted" Jamal for ideas after deciding to collaborate with American rapper Russ, "knowing he would create something incredible".
Jamal died in February at the age of 31 from a cardiac arrhythmia after taking recreational drugs.< /p>
"Our whole world was upside down, and I had to cancel," Ed posted on Instagram.
The singer said Jamal planned the Are You Entertained video "sending me locations, ideas, cameos, trying to make it the best video any of us could ever do".< /p>
"I wish Jam was here to see it, I wish we did it together, but he'd be buzzing about how all of his people came together and brought his vision to life," he said. he said.
"We were supposed to shoot in February, but the day before Russ left, Jamal tragically passed away. Our whole world was upside down, and I had to cancel and just tell Russ it wasn't happening.
