Elaine Hendrix revisits her most iconic movie character - and fans are wondering if Meredith Blake of 'The Parent Trap' is actually a villain. Hendrix, 51, posted a TikTok on July 21 to mark the 24th anniversary of the 1998 film's release a day before. In the video, Hendrix pours himself a glass of wine while participating in the popular app's "He's a 10 goal" challenge.

As Hendrix savors his glass of red, on-screen text reads: "It's a 10, but...He had twins whom he separated at birth when he broke up with their mother and didn't tell you until the twins discovered each other at camp and switched places to try to reunite their parents. And you didn't just bump into them all at the same hotel just before your wedding, so you go camping to get to know each other, but you're not a nature girl and the twins know that."

The Hendrix captions continue: "So the little brats put rocks in your backpack, a lizard on your head, sugar water in your mosquito repellent, and push your airbed into the lake while you sleep. Then you lose your sh*t." Finishing his character's script, Hendrix — who went on to appear in projects like 'Dynasty' — wrote, "You never looked back." In the caption, the actor wrote, "Happy 24th birthday".

In 'The Parent Trap,' Meredith was a 24-year-old publicist who worked with Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid) promoting his California vineyard, while having sex with the charming dad. Unfortunately, Nick's scheming twins (both played by Lindsay Lohan) don't care much for their soon-to-be stepmother.

Super sleuth fans in the comments section also noticed that Hendrix's wine came from a bottle whose label read "Parkers" - a cheeky nod to Nick's fictional winery in the movie, Parker Knoll.

In 2020, the cast of the film came together to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of its release. Lohan, Quaid, Hendrix, Lisa Ann Walter, Simon Kunz and director Nancy Meyers took part in a virtual call with Katie Couric to reminisce about making the film.
