Artists are goats used to celebrate Christmas –Mr P

Artist Peter Okoye aka Mr P said that artists are like the goats people usually use to celebrate festive times.

The energetic musician and dancer made the statement at the premiere of "Battle on Buka Street", an anticipated comedy-drama from Funke Akindele.

Asked how he planned to spend the holiday season, Mr. P replied that it was a lucrative time for artists, adding that they were only going to concerts and shows and that they rarely had time for their families.

He said, "We (the artists) are the goats used to celebrate Christmas. We go to concerts and shows and we don't have time to celebrate Christmas. I'm telling you I'm going to travel with my family? No now, it's a lucrative time."

Expressing that he was not a red carpet fan, Mr P said he took the opportunity to show his support for Funke Akindele, adding that issues surrounding reconciliation with his twin brother, Paul, aka Rude Boy, was old news.

Asked the three things people don't know about him, Mr. P replied, "First, never catch me eating. I'm a fast eater and I can finish my meal in three minutes. Two, I don't eat fish at all. And finally, I usually file my nails."
