EPL: I hate liars – Conte warns Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has said he only stays at a club if he is honest with them.
Conte said so in his press conference ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Southampton.
The former Chelsea and Juventus boss was appointed by Spurs in November 2021 to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.
He was questioned about his short stays in the teams he worked with.
Conte replied: "First, I have to stay well in the club. I always like honesty. If you tell me one thing, then you have to respect that.
"I don't like people who told me one thing and then during the season, after a year or two, changed it.
"If you tell me a good lie, you won't have much luck with me. I hate lies and liars."
