EPL: I haven't spoken to him in weeks - Eriksen on Ronaldo's interview with Morgan
Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen says striker Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with British journalist Piers Morgan did not distract him ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Eriksen also said he hadn't spoken to Ronaldo for the past two weeks during the interview.
Recall that Ronaldo criticized Man United, the Glazer family, manager Erik ten Hag, former Man United stars Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville, and Man United youngsters, among others.
Speaking on development, Eriksen insisted that his focus was solely on the World Cup.
The Denmark international was quoted by the Sun UK as saying: "It hasn't been a distraction for me, all my thoughts are on the World Cup.
"I haven't spoken to him in the past few weeks."
