EPL: What I said to Son Heung-min after scoring a 30-minute hat-trick - Conte
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has revealed what he said to striker Heung-min Son after the South Korean came off the bench to score a 30-minute hat-trick against Leicester City on Saturday .
The South Korean striker has had a poor start to the season by his own high standards, registering just one assist in all competitions before this weekend
For this reason, Conte has decided to drop the 30-year-old from his starting XI for the clash with Leicester.
But the South Korea international was introduced after 59 minutes and Son netted a hat-trick as Spurs cruised to a 6-2 victory over the Foxes.
Talking about Sonny's hat-trick, Conte told Sky Sports: "I'm really happy for Sonny today.
"You know what I think of the player. I told him if you are going to score three goals in 30 minutes 'maybe we can repeat this experience', but I was joking.
"I'm lucky, I have a very good group of players, they are very good people. We have to start thinking differently if we want to take the next step."
