EPL: You're no longer wanted at Man Utd - Carragher slams Ronaldo

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has hit out at Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo saying he is no longer wanted at Old Trafford.

Carragher said Ronaldo is no longer the same player he was, adding that no other club in Europe wants him at the moment.

Ronaldo is keen to leave Man United after failing to qualify for this season's Champions League.

His current contract with Man United expires next year, having joined the Red Devils from Juventus last summer.

However, clubs like Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with a summer move for Ronaldo, but all three European clubs have distanced themselves from the reports.

"I always thought he [Cristiano Ronaldo] was a weird signing," Carragher said on Overlap.

"I always thought this situation would happen, even if Ronaldo was doing good for you [Man United].

"He signed a two-year contract plus another year, which I couldn't believe, and he's never going to play second fiddle to anyone, but as players, at some point in your career, we all know you are not the same players, and his career lasted longer because he is such a great professional.

"But the fact that he's now 37, 38 this season, he's not the same player. He's still a great goalscorer, but he's not the same player. No other club in Europe right now doesn't want him, maybe I'm wrong.

"But it doesn't look like United can get him out, so at the moment the other clubs don't want him. And I think if you ask Ten Hag, I don't think he wants him And I'm not sure the Manchester United dressing room wants Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment."
