Qatar 2022: I'm impressed - Griezmann tells Morocco after France victory
French midfielder Antoine Griezmann hailed Morocco after defeating the Africans in the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Wednesday.
France will now face Argentina in the final of the tournament on Sunday, after the South Americans beat Croatia 3-0 earlier on Tuesday.
Griezmann, who was spectacular for Didier Deschamps' side during the competition, hailed the Atlas Lions for their resilience.
The Atletico Madrid striker said after the match: "I was impressed by Morocco. They worked very well tactically, both in defense and in attack.
"They gave us a lot of problems, the coach realized that and made a change."
He went on to explain that a tactical change from coach Deschamps when he brought Marcus Thuram on the left wing helped France a lot.
