Ex-UNIJOS VC leads Plateau APC government campaign

Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Sebastiane Maimako, has been appointed Managing Director of the All Progressives Congress Governor's Campaign Council in Plateau State.
The APC made the appointment in a statement released Friday evening by its Secretary of State for Publicity, Sylvanus Namang
The statement read in part: "The All Progressives Congress, Plateau State Chapter has, after broad and strategic consultations, released the key nominations to its gubernatorial campaign council ahead of the 2023 general election. .
“The Campaign Council, which is to be chaired by Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, candidate for state governor with Hon. Rufus Bature, the chairman of the state APC, as as Vice President, has the following principal officials:
“Director General, Professor Sebastian S Maimako; Deputy DG (Operations) - Rt Hon Shehu Yipmong; Deputy DG (Administration) – Comrade Jibrin Bancir; Deputy DG (Elections Management) – Hon. Ernest Daa; Secretary of the Campaign Council - Prof. Shem Bindas. ”
The statement said the appointments, which take effect immediately, reflect the diverse geopolitical, religious and ethnic interests of the state.
He added that the other remaining appointments in the respective campaign council leaderships will be made in due course.
