F1 LIVE: Driver abruptly sacked as new man set to make 2023 debut at next race
Lewis Hamilton admitted he still struggled to understand the level of support he enjoyed at Silverstone, despite being Britain's top F1 driver for over a decade.
"I've been to other sporting events, but none of them come close to this one," he told the podcast.
"When you have that support, I never dreamed of people wearing my hat or supporting me, I always thought it would just be my parents.
"To see this and experience it, it takes time to learn to accept it fully because it is not easy.
"There's so much energy and it's super overwhelming when you're on stage or in front of a crowd. I think probably when I was younger there were days when I didn't know if I felt like I really deserved this.
"It's just part of my own issues growing up, learning to be able to accept it and integrate it and continue this journey with them."
