Each store is original and very independent - 100 meters away you can do all your Christmas shopping. There's fashion, art, handmade toiletries, toys, plants, antiques, household items and more. Don't forget to look up and enjoy the magnificent architecture of the Egyptian house and other regency buildings. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes too if you need to recharge your batteries. Church Street is off the main road through Twickenham town centre. The road, regularly closed to traffic to allow the many cafes and restaurants to overflow into the street, offers a very nice selection of independent shops. This part of Twickenham is often used in advertisements and more recently featured in Ted Lasso.
