Unsurprisingly, we know who will come to their rescue — Mario (Chris Pratt) makes an abrupt entrance into the Mushroom Kingdom, while his brother Luigi (Charlie Day) makes an appearance.

The film also stars The Queen's Gambit's Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. among other big names. Super Mario Bros. is scheduled for release on April 7, 2023.

If we trust the teaser, the creators are not taking any risks. It seems like a simple CG flick meant to appeal to a wide audience - you won't get any flashbacks to the bizarre 1993 live-action flick. help stand out if the iconic gaming franchise alone isn't enough.
