Frank Ocean drops out of Coachella headliner after broken ankle

Frank Ocean will not return to the Coachella stage for the second weekend of the festival, dropping out after suffering two broken bones and a sprained left leg.

In a statement provided to TMZ on Wednesday, Frank's reps said, "After injuring his leg on the festival grounds during the week leading up to Weekend 1, Frank Ocean will not was unable to perform the planned show, but was still determined to perform, and within 72 hours the show was reworked out of necessity."

They continue, "On doctor's advice, Frank is unable to perform weekend 2 due to two broken bones and a sprained left leg."

Frank tells us: "It was chaotic. There is a certain beauty in the chaos. It's not what I intended to show, but I enjoyed being there and I see you soon."

TMZ broke the story, Ocean allegedly injured his ankle on the festival grounds before his show, prompting last-minute set changes... so it looks like things were a lot more serious than we didn't think so at first.

As we reported, fans were disappointed...
