Governor's election will decide who owns Lagos – Fani-Kayode

A leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, said Saturday's gubernatorial election will decide who owns Lagos State.

It was like Fani-Kayode said Lagos State would face the toughest test and challenge on state identity.

In a tweet, he urged Yorubas and people of good conscience to vote for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday.

He wrote: "On Sat. 18th March Lagos State will face the toughest test and greatest challenge to its efficiency and identity since its inception. The question of who owns Lagos will finally be determined and guests who seek to claim Yoruba land as their own will be put in their place.

“I urge every Yoruba son and daughter and all men and women of goodwill to come out on this day and vote for @jidesanwoolu who has proven that he is not just a true omo- oluabi but also a first-class leader and administrator.”

After the presidential election, there was a feud between the Yorubas and the Igbos in Lagos State.

This followed the victory of Labor Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi in Lagos State.

A market mainly occupied by Igbos in Lagos State caught fire after the elections, with many political thugs claiming to be the source of hell.
