"One of my favorite things to do is sit with my kids before bed and read them a book ," he said.
"I appreciate this quality time with them. They especially like the book The Lion Inside so they will be extremely excited to hear this from the Harry Kane Foundation, which seeks to change perceptions of mental health by normalizing conversations and promoting positive habits to end the stigma around the subject.
At the launch of his foundation on World Mental Health Day, Kane said: " This marks the start of my journey to learn more about health me ntal health and use my position to hopefully encourage others to take care of their mental health, do their best and not be afraid to ask for help.
"While I'm far from an expert on the subject, I've learned that an increasing number of people need to learn positive coping strategies and build resilience to do in the face of adversity.
"I am thrilled to work to support amazing organizations and causes that I close to their hearts."
