If you love your black and white looks but rarely dare to color, a good way to start introducing it is to add a splash of a color to a black and white look, an even more fun to style this color add not one but 2 pieces of that SAME shade into your look. Here I was wearing a bright green t-shirt and threw a sweatshirt over my shoulders in a very similar color (I would even say it's the same).

The weather in Amsterdam is still a bit up and down, so carrying the sweatshirt over my shoulders meant I had it easily accessible if I needed an extra layer, but also, I think it looks super cool on the shoulders, in fact, it reminds me of my school uniform days where the only way to showcase our personal style was to play around with elements of our uniform, so I had the habit of throwing my sweaters or sweatshirts over my shoulders all the time. Teachers often told me not to, but hey, you can't blame me for trying!
