Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger seen for first time since arrest

Bryan Kohberger has just been seen for the first time since his arrest... appearing in court to face charges of brutally murdering 4 college students - in a case that has fascinated the nation.

The alleged murderer is expected to waive extradition on Tuesday and will be returned to Moscow, ID - where he is charged with 4 counts of first degree murder and one count of burglary. He faces the death penalty or life imprisonment, if convicted.

The families of the victims said they would be present at the hearings...and Steve Goncalves -- whose daughter Kaylee Goncalves was one of four victims killed -- told NBC News: "I want he's tired of seeing us and tired of knowing that these people won't let go."

Steve also told 'GMA' that the arrest was a huge relief for his family, saying it was "like seeing the sunlight after being stuck in a house for a month".

As for Kohberger, his public defender Jason LaBar said "TODAY" that he was acting "very calmly" ahead of the hearing...reiterating claims that Kohberger believes he will be fully exonerated.
