Kelechi Iheanacho is set for his 180th appearance for Leicester City when they take on Crystal Palace in Saturday's (today) Premier League encounter at the King Power Stadium as they aim to climb from the bottom of the log, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Foxes are three points behind on safety after nine games this season, while the Eagles are five points behind in 15th place.

Iheanacho, who joined the Foxes for £25million from Manchester City in 2017, has scored 48 goals and made 29 assists in 179 appearances for the club.

The match will also be his 176th EPL appearance since making his debut against Watford in August 2015 while playing for Manchester City.

The 26-year-old has also scored 38 goals and provided 21 assists in the English Premier League.

So far this season, the former youth international has made seven league appearances with his only goal in his opener against Brighton, which ended in a 5-2 defeat .

The Nigerian will also be looking to score to add to his tally against Palace. He scored five times against Patrick Viera's team.

He scored his first EPL goal - the winner against the Eagles at Selhurst Park in 2015 after coming on as a late substitute.

Meanwhile, there is no change regarding Wilfred Ndidi, who is suffering from a hamstring problem, with the Nigerian midfielder still a few weeks away from his return.

"We had a few players who didn't practice as much," Rodgers said.

"Ndidi probably in a few weeks. When it came out, we were looking at around three weeks. We think it will be around this time of last week."
