Insider claims 'intimate relationship' between Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell as Royal could become next FBI target

Britain's Prince Andrew may be on the FBI's radar after socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was seen this week, according to a report. Lawyers representing victims of sex and financial offender Jeffrey Epstein have urged prosecutors to look into Maxwell's connection to Prince Andrew, the Mirror has reported. Giving credence to the claim, a new Sun report, citing a former Royal Army protection officer, said the two shared an intimate relationship that gave the British socialite unrestricted access to Buckingham Palace. The manner in which Maxwell gained access to the palace, regardless of the time of day, reportedly led the officer to believe the two might be in "some kind of relationship". Related link: The two reportedly had an intimate picnic on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, which the officer described as "right outside the Queen's bedroom window". He said staff were instructed to always keep Maxwell's name out of the guest book. The Sun report also listed several of their public appearances together in 2000. "She appears to have been a key part of Andrew's social life at the time - but the nature of their relationship has never been confirmed," the report said. The publication quotes the former royal protection officer as saying: "I was of the opinion that they had some form of intimate relationship." It was Maxwell who introduced Prince Andrew to Epstein. The tainted financier and Maxwell were allegedly involved in trafficking a teenage girl to the latter's London home, where she was allegedly forced to have sex with Prince Andrew. Although the Duke of York has denied the charges, he reached a £12 million (million) out-of-court settlement with the victim earlier this year. 2022 Benzinga does not provide investment advice.
