Katsina opens portal for domestic talent hunt

Katsina State Government has opened its portal for interested talented natives to download and apply for the State National Talent Hunt Challenge Season II competition.

KNTHC Chairman Ahmad Mansur-Kurfi, who revealed it in Katsina on Thursday, said forms would be distributed in local government areas in the state for those interested.

He added that interested persons can also download the KNTHC application through the portal and apply for the talent competition.

According to him, the competition aims to encourage innovation and develop the potential talent of young people.

The KNTHC President added that like the first season, Season II of the competition will be held in four different categories.

According to him, three winners should emerge from each of the four categories organized for the competition and one overall winner.

According to him, the competition categories are Arts and Design, Automotive Modeling and Products, ICT Design, and Music and Entertainment.

He urged young people to seize the opportunity by participating in the competition to add value to their lives, their families, Katsina State and Nigeria.

Mansur-Kurfi also thanked members of the press for their full support for last season's success.

He further directed them to partner with the program to ensure the success of Season II from start to finish.

Nigeria News Agency reports that the first season of the contest was successfully completed in the first quarter of 2022, with 7,000 entrants.
