Kodak Black pitstopped Monday in a Florida jail for about an hour...but his attorney says it's actually a good thing for the rapper.

Bradford Cohen, Kodak's attorney, tells TMZ...Kodak was kept on a leash while on bail for his prescription drug case and is supposed to check in with authorities regularly and take tests mandatory urine tests, but he hasn't checked in recently and they went to court Monday on the matter.

Kodak took to Instagram Live on Sunday night and complained about his situation...raising concern from fans.

Anyway, Kodak's attorney says he pleaded in court to get rid of strict pre-trial surveillance... and the judge agreed but also ended up increasing his bail $75,000 to $250,000...and we're told that's why Kodak had to go through the prison booking process again.

We are told that Kodak ended up posing for a new photo at the Broward County Jail and posting the new bond before being released. We are told that Kodak was in and out of jail within an hour and had to pay $175,000, the difference between his original bail and his new bail.

Kodak's attorney sees this as a victory for Kodak, as the rapper will now be able to travel and tour without having to register with the services before trial.
