South Korea's Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon recently visited New York to discuss different ways the two nations can engage in investigations related to financial crimes, especially crypto crimes.

Hoon met with co-head of the Securities and Commodities Task Force Andrea M. Griswold at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, as well as Task Force Chief Scott Hartman securities and commodities fraud working group from the same office on Tuesday, a local news publication reported.

The two sides discussed ways to exchange information and strengthen cooperation to ensure prompt action against the growing number of securities fraud associated with the digital asset market, the publication reported.
