Kwara Assembly Majority Leader Magaji Dead
The Kwara State Assembly has confirmed the death of House Majority Leader Olawoyin Magaji, who passed away on Monday morning.
The confirmation was contained in a statement by the Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Youth, Sports and Tourism, Awolola Olamide Ayokunle, in Ilorin on Monday.
It read, "The House announces with regret the passing of Hon. Magaji Olawoyin, Member representing Ilorin Central State Constituency and Leader of the House.
"The sudden event occurred in the early hours of Monday, January 9, 2023 after a brief illness."
"Janazah will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Magajin Geri Family House, Surulere, Ilorin.
"May Allah rest his soul in Jannatu Firdauz," the statement added.
