Lagos Transport Commissioner Wins Comrade 'Ikorodu Oga' Award

Lagos State Transport Commissioner, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, has been awarded the Ikorodu Oga Award by the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS) in recognition of his efforts to ensure that Lagos witnessed of a significant transformation in the transport sector.

During the annual celebration of the ancient city of Ikorodu titled "Ikorodu Oga Day", the award was presented to the Commissioner by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, for his giant strides in the transport sector in Lagos State.< /p>

Oladeinde has been commended for the various transport projects implemented under his leadership which are poised to be of significant benefit to the people of Lagos State and by extension the people of Lagos State. Ikorodu.

The Commissioner, who was represented by the Executive Assistant to the Governor for Maritime Affairs, Prince Yomi Sopitan, while expressing his deep gratitude to the Ayangburen of Ikorodu for the honor bestowed upon him, also expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the annual event, the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS).

He further acknowledged the teamwork in place at the Department of Transport, stating, "Governance is a collective effort."
