Lagos: Yoruba politicians use political thugs and criminals to attack Igbos – IPOB
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have accused Yoruba politicians of attacking the Igbos with political thugs and criminals in Lagos State.
IPOB made the remark while noting that it is only trying to protect the interests of the Igbos in Lagos State.
IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful revealed this in a statement he issued.
The statement reads in part: "We are aware that Yoruba politicians are using political thugs and criminals to attack Ndigbo in Lagos, but they will soon regret their actions.
“Ndigbo in Lagos should know that the IPOB is not looking for popularity but only interested in protecting *ALL* Biafrans regardless of their location in the world until Biafra is restored and beyond ."
The Igbos of Lagos State have recently suffered several attacks from thugs.
Markets mostly populated by Igbos were targeted and burned.
The attacks began after Labor Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi won the presidential election in Lagos State.
