Lalong wins as court dismisses PDP senator and representative from Plateau

An electoral court in Jos has sacked the senator representing Plateau South senatorial district, Napoleon Bali, and the MP representing Barikin Ladi/Riyom federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Peter Gyendeng.

The court then declared the former governor of the state, Simon Lalong, of the All Progressive Congress (APC), a validly elected senator from Plateau South district.

The court also declared Fom Dalyop of the Labor Party (LP) as the validly elected representative of the Barikin Ladi/Riyom federal constituency.
