Lavinia Fuksas presents her latest jewelry collection in New York
Cosmopolitan jeweler Lavinia Fuksas wrote her love letter to New York with her latest jewelry collection .
The 40-piece lineup showcased around town with an exhibit featuring backlit displays referencing the Manhattan skyline and followed by cocktails and dinner, nods to architectural forms with gilded cages throughout.
All handcrafted in Italy, Fuksas jewelry combines 9-carat gold with white diamonds, malachite, mother-of-pearl, onyx or lapis, carefully selected to stand out while transmitting a discreet and chic attitude. Colorful stones add a modernist touch to understated designs, while tiny diamonds averaging 0.2 carats bring extra light, making the collection somewhat approachable, with a few exceptions.
The collection sells for between 290 and 2900 euros, with entry-level models in bronze or in silver, while a mesh-like choker worth 15,000 euros wrapping around the neck and illuminated with small diamonds and mother-of-pearl triangles marks the one-of-a-kind high jewelry piece in the range.< /p>
The designer, who introduced her eponymous jewelry brand in late 2020 as her first solo project after co -run label AdMater, will also introduce a new upcycling collection named "Heritage", in which customers can provide personal jewelry and stone heirlooms that she will turn into contemporary accessories.
