Ligue 1: PSG director clarifies Neymar departure rumors
Paris Saint-Germain football adviser Luis Campos has insisted the club never planned to sell Neymar during the summer transfer window.
Many football fans were led to believe that the Messi-Mbappe-Neymar trio at PSG was going to be disbanded over the summer.
Neymar was mostly expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions.
But when asked if the Brazilian superstar is already gone, Campos replied: "No. I even heard that Kylian demanded we get Neymar out. No. We're counting on all three. Last year Kylian was the best player in the world. Messi was adapting, Neymar was injured and Kylian was holding the team together. He's a great player.
"But Neymar is a very good player, there's no doubt about it. And above all, everything I've heard before about him, I must have listened badly because he always arrives on time. I see a Neymar involved in the team project, in the club project."
