LP candidates defeat PDP Reps members in all seven constituencies of Enugu

The Labor Party won seven seats in the House of Representatives in Enugu State.

DAILY POST previously reported that the party won the elections in the federal constituency of Nsukka/Igbo-Eze Sud.

Other federal constituencies won by the Labor Party include Enugu East/Isi-Uzo, where Professor Paul Nnamchi beat outgoing member of the Representatives, Cornelius Nnaji.

It's the same in Enugu North/Enugu South. LP's Chimaobi Atu defeated PDP Representatives member Offor Chukwuegbo.

In other results, the LP also won the seat of the Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani representatives.

Nwodo Chijioke of the LP defeated incumbent MP, Mr. Martins Oke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

For Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Mr. Dennis Agbo of LP was also declared the winner.

Agbo, who was in the Green House between 2015 and 2019, garnered 28,870 votes to defeat incumbent member of the PDP representatives, Atigwe Simon, who obtained 14,229 votes.

Aninri/Awgu/Oji River, as well as Udi/Ezeagu also went to the LP. Festus Uzor, former chief of staff to the Governor of Enugu State, lost the elections.
