Man Utd star told to 'fire his agent' for 'creating drama' amid reports of major La Liga transfer

Man Utd starlet Alejandro Garnacho has been told he should 'fire his agent' amid reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

The Red Devils paid around £420,000 to sign Garnacho from La Liga side Atletico Madrid in 2021 and he has been one of their star performers this season under Erik ten Hag.

The 18-year-old put in some star performances as the winger quickly became a fan favorite at Old Trafford.

Garnacho started on the bench at the weekend as United lost to Arsenal. Rio Ferdinand has since insisted he should have been hired sooner.

"I will say that if I was picky with United, I thought maybe they should have brought in someone like Garnacho with 15 or 20 minutes to play just to give Arsenal something to think about.< /p>

“They were so onto us. They were all over us because they knew there was nothing threatening behind us.

He added: "I thought Garnacho would have been a great substitute. Looking back, it's easy to say all that, but they were the better team."

Garnacho is already an important player for United but his future is uncertain as his contract is due to expire in 2024.

United are said to be 'optimistic' that Garnacho will commit his future to the club, but he is linked with Real Madrid.

Now ex-Man Utd player Paul Parker has explained why he doesn't understand why Garnacho would go to Juventus or Madrid.

"I don't understand why he would want to leave the biggest club in the world. And why Juventus or Real Madrid? Parker told wettbasis.

"Juventus are in a very bad place at the moment, so he would get there to sit on the bench for a bad team.

"And Real Madrid, of course, they are a great club but they would play even less than they do at Man Utd."

Parker added that Garnacho should "fire" his agent because he's "not trying to help".

"So these rumors make absolutely no sense and I don't believe they are true. I believe the agent is trying to pressure Man Utd into giving Garnacho a big contract, so the agent can fulfill his pockets with a lot of money.

"That's how agents operate these days and Garnacho should consider firing him because he's not trying to help Garnacho.

"Actually, I don't understand why players want to have agents. The only thing they do is create drama and take some of the hard-earned money from footballers."
