Many clubs tried to sign me - Ronaldo reveals during Al Nassr unveiling

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that clubs around the world tried to sign him before he chose to join Al Nassr.

The 37-year-old was speaking during his official presentation on Tuesday.

According to him, he could have played in Europe or America, but he decided to move to Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo's lucrative deal will net £173m a year.

"Nobody knows but I can say now that I had many opportunities in Europe.

Many clubs in Brazil, Australia, United States even Portugal, many clubs tried to sign me.

"But I had given my word to Al Nassr," Ronaldo said.
