Mariah Carey's request to trademark the nickname "Christmas Queen" has been denied by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The US star's claim was denied after his company failed to respond to another singer's opposition.
The brand would have given him the legal right to prevent others from using the title on music and merchandise. short for "QOC" and "Princess Christmas".
